The Library...My Sabbatical

It's funny how so many aspects of my life have changed but the desk in my library has not...it's been in or near the same spot for over 15 years...in the same house for 20...it was my husband's when dating...and now it sets out in the cold....alone...on the side walk looking for a new home. A new adventure. It's a historical piece that deserves an environmental chance; however our non-profit ministry is growning out of its seams and I need to make room for filing cabinets. YUK! So today was a trip to "Staples" (across from Starbucks) that my husband would consider a mental transformation for me. Something utterly impossible...a restructuring and reorganizing of the Library. People can change you know. I've taken on a Sabbatical since January 2009. And God has given me an agenda. Mainly...I stay at home other than walking my beagle and visiting my neighbor for a daily cup of coffee and "pick me up conversation". Josie. She is my saint and sanity all together. A God gift dropped from heaven.

Back to the library...How do I start...? I addressed all on face book and only two responded...one friend with 11 children and my neice with 5 children- both who know about organization...I was so puzzled yet guilt ridden. I showed them my Oprah "begging" for help video... and they returned for advice...get rid of junk...and get file cabinets...so here I go....watch the video...

In a future blogg, I wanted to let you know that I have a new house guest, his name is "Monkey"...well...that's my nickname for him. He is a University student from Vanguard...He does intertwine into this story too...yes, he helped and is helping to organize the library...and is part of my sabatical...In Japan their "writing" character for "conflict" is also "opportunity"...U know...we're gonna make it...okay!
